“I love those who love me, and those who seek me diligently find me” (Proverbs 8:17).
The wise man who penned the Proverbs often pictured God’s truth as a character we might identify as Lady Wisdom. Crying out to those who would listen, she invites them to come and partake of her feast. This literary artistry draws a beautiful picture of a loving God who desires salvation for His creation. Wisdom, however, will only be found by the diligent. Only those who seek truth will find the kind of relationship that the Lord desires. Diligence means there is no turning back, no excuse making, no compromising. Does this describe you? Are you diligently seeking the Lord? If so, He can and will be found, so don’t give up! God is ready for you to find Him.
