The Gooch Lane church of Christ is a group of people in Madison, Alabama seeking to study the Bible and put God’s teachings into practice. We’d love to have you join us for Bible study and worship.
Our Elders
We currently have five outstanding men serving as elders: Gary Crafts, David Dunaway, Greg Kiel, Brent Romine, and Maurice Romine.
These men are responsible for shepherding the flock among them as Peter gives instruction in I Peter 5:2-3:
Shepherd the flock of God which is among you, serving as overseers, not by constraint but willingly, not for dishonest gain but eagerly; not as being lords over those entrusted to you, but being examples to the flock.
